Inspiration and advice – Headshed Technical Advisory Board

Headshed has been blessed with two great advisory boards - Market and Technical. I call it blessed, because these guys have a unique and extremely strong competence, and we feel honoured that they want to support us. On may 30th 2017, we hosted the first co-located meeting for the Headshed Technical Advisory Board in Trondheim to discuss relevant technical topics related to the development of Headshed Cube. The participants Alf Inge Wang is as a professor in Game Technology at NTNU and one of the key people behind the success of Kahoot. In addition...

Choosing

There is no one true solution (except for this one)

We’re in London, first-time visitors to the Sales Innovation Expo. Rumour (and the promo material) has it that there are 8 THOUSAND of us here. It’s a big marketplace, with 400 suppliers exhibiting. Between an excellent keynote from Dave Smith (of SalesScreen) and the first pint, I’ve talked to a number of competitors, possible collaborators and integration partners, and witnessed the mind-boggling diversity (and similarity) of software companies offering solutions for sales managers. I had some thoughts. What to choose? There are lots and lots of solutions out there I’ve dealt with...

Headshed joins the “UT Project”

We've recently been added to the list of innovative companies that are connected by the UT Network - the largest network of technology companies in Central Norway. This means that we'll have access to tons of experience, resources and connections that will help us scale and deliver to a global market. On that note - we're headed to London next week, and it looks like it's time to cross the Atlantic this fall. Exciting stuff! Read more about what the UT Project has to say about us!...

Why we obsess about your customer and sales data

Big data. Heard it before? Sure you have. Everyone wants in on it, it’s the future, it’s coming, it’s here, it’s the new loud. If you want to effectively automate and fine-tune your marketing, there’s no way around it. But how? I’ve seen my share of customer data sets and I’ve spent (probably waaaay too much) time manually slicing, dicing and pruning databases in order to find the right customers for marketing campaigns. Over the years, I’ve found a few consistencies regarding these – by which I mean your – customer...

It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life…

...and this is our new logo! We like it. It’s got the Cube in it and everything, Our freelancer.com logo contest yielded well over four hundred entries, we cherry-picked our way through them all and, in the end, awarded this one. Thanks for all your effort and talent! We wanted our new logo to convey our name and brand in a visually meaningful (and appealing) way, and we feel that Arterboy's contribution really delivered. We spent a lot of time pondering this - I'm really happy with the way it turned out....
